Derek is a writer, vocalist, pianist, actor, composer, and computer artist. He studied acting at San Jose State University and with Dennis Sakamoto, and has performed on stage with local companies including CMTSJ, Bus Barn, and Stage One Productions. He owns and operates Big Picture Design Group, an independent graphics design firm, and is currently working on a fantasy novel for young people and an inspirational book for all ages.

Mary Theresa is a dancer, choreographer, vocalist, actress, and poet. She has been dancing since the age of three, studying many genres including ballet (her favorite), pointe, jazz, and tap. Having majored in Theater Arts at Northwestern University, she performed as a dancer/singer in the "Kids of the Kingdom" at Walt Disney World and as a Special Events Dancer at Tokyo Disneyland, as well as locally with TheatreWorks and CMTSJ.

Karyn Rondeau is a graduate of the Artists Institute at American Musical Theater of San Jose and has over 20 years experience as an actress, vocalist, and recording artist. Karyn serves on the Board of Directors and provides TheArtsLab with her expertise in administrative support and office management. She has performed locally with such theater groups as Foothill Music Theatr, Saratoga Drama Group, West Valley Light Opera, C Sunnyvale Community Players, and Mystery by Design.
